Jorge Rivera, CEO of Kilowattia, receives recognition in the Launch category of the INCAE Entrepreneur Award.
The INCAE Entrepreneur Award evaluated nearly 200 ventures from across Latin America, of which 65 advanced to the final phase. In the Launch category, oriented toward technological startups ready to scale, Jorge Rivera represented Kilowattia with a presentation that highlighted the use of the Internet of Things and the application of artificial intelligence to provide energy efficiency to small and medium-sized enterprises throughout the region. The prize in this category was USD $7,000.
The competition recognizes companies in different stages of development through three categories: Pitch!, aimed at early-stage ventures; Launch, focused on technological startups with traction and scaling potential; and PYME, which recognizes established companies that have incorporated innovation into their business model. In this edition, the winners were: Launch Category: Jorge Rivera | Kilowattia; Pitch! Category: Matthias Peters | 3D Armour; PYME Category: Mónica Calderón | ACL.
